The brief
Twenty-five fundamentally different websites, hung in one travelling 3D spiral gallery. The exhibition had to make a visitor want to open every one of them, not scroll past a grid.
The approach
The gallery is a descending WebGL spiral. Each of the twenty-five works surfaces in turn with its title and subject, so the collection reads like walking an exhibition, not browsing a folder.
Every sound is synthesised live in the browser, with a choice to enter with sound or quietly, so the experience never ambushes anyone.
One clean gradient wordmark on near-black, so the works themselves carry all the colour.
